NAME
       cconv_close  -  character  sequence  based code conversion deallocation
       function

SYNOPSIS
       #include <iconv.h>
       int cconv_close(cconv_t cd);

DESCRIPTION
       The cconv_close() function deallocates the conversion  descriptor  (cd)
       and  all  other  associated  resources  allocated by the cconv_open(3C)
       function.


       See EXAMPLES section of cconv(3C) for examples on how to use the  func‐
       tion.

RETURN VALUES
       Upon  successful  completion,  0 is returned. Otherwise, -1 is returned
       and errno is set to indicate the error.

ERRORS
       The cconv_close() function may fail if:


       EBADF    The conversion descriptor is invalid.
